The public photographic TIFFs are 6000×3000 and 4331×2480 pixels respectively.
The restricted 800-million-pixel and 340-million-pixel originals are not used.
`scripts/build-study-space.mjs` checks each source's SHA-256.

`study-space.webp` registers the detailed Sagittarius/Scorpius observation into
its corresponding region in the surrounding all-sky photograph, feathers the
boundary, and downsamples to 4096×2048, encoded at WebP quality 90. The detailed observation is also available
at 4096×2345 in `study-space-detail.webp`, loaded on first telescope use.
The lens uses the same measured registration. No stars are invented or enlarged;
the photographs' approximate registration is not a precision astrometric solution.
The measured feature pairs, transform and held-out residuals are preserved in
`scripts/study-space-registration.json`.

The scene rotates the complete celestial sphere together. This is a photographic
sky, not a live ephemeris or a claim that a dark-adapted eye sees the brightness
and colour of a long exposure. No additional star layer is superimposed.
The floating study is an imagined setting.

`study-space-entry.webp` is a 1536x768, quality-85 derivative of the registered
panorama. It appears during entry while the original 4096x2048 panorama loads.
The full photograph replaces it without changing the astronomical alignment.
